Currently mine has an expected dispatch date of Nov 20th lol. Never in my many years of buying from Amazon has something been so slow in being dispatched. Strange!

Well it seems like they didn't order through enough stock as people are getting it in dribs and drabs. I'd assume they keeping getting small amounts of new stock and slowly getting through the orders.

Maybe they're waiting for GEM to get together and sign it as a surprise for fans who ordered. Not.

It's arrived! My 1996 original is in storage so I can't really compare unfortunately (and I don't have time for pics right now)... But it's good! Quite a thick cover and a much thicker insert (which is great because the original paper ones always split)... Font is sharp, images are ok (maybe a little lower quality but not that bad imo)...

I played the record (180g)... Pretty good, I thought maybe a little muffled compared to the original but that might just be my memory recalling the original as some sort of heavenly chorus to play ;) I got this just as a back-up copy to actually listen to regularly rather than treat as the holy grail - and it's perfect for that! Now if they can hurry up and (re)release the others that'd be great! :)

By others you mean SpiceWorld and...?, as Forever wasn't released on vinyl, unforunately! Which is a big shame as it's such a r'nb gem it would sound gorgeous on vinyl!

I would love a release for Forever and Spiceworld
Vinyls are such great pieces for collector fans, the first release of Spiceworld is so rare and expensive! I was so glad to receive my very first vinyl Spice last thursday :dee:

Yeah I'd like to see Spiceworld repressed too, and Forever and the GH pressed for the first time! I think it's only a matter of time before Spiceworld gets done... The others not so sure. Perhaps if there is a rerelease of the GH then there will be a vinyl edition... I'm not sure if we'll ever get Forever... But vinyl sales are growing massively and the Spice Girls are still big (at least retrospectively/nostalgically), so who knows!

I would buy all of the other albums on LP and put them nicely on the wall. I have Spice and Free me so far and several promos.

What a mess of a release. Who's sorting it out GEM?

They really should release all 4 albums on vinyl. It's not like there are 12 albums out. Only 3 need creating now (Spiceworld was released once wasn't it?)

Fingers crossed that future vinyl releases are planned! There's now 4 different pressings of Spice (original UK, original US, 2015 US, 2016 UK), and you're right, only one for Spiceworld.

Hopefully if they ever re-release Spiceworld, they'd make sure the lyrics were correct lol. Quite a few mistakes in the original pressing.

Kind of surprised the GH hasn't materialised on Vinyl yet; I feel like that'd attract a lot of casual purchases! Would obviously love Forever to be on vinyl too, but I feel like it's the least likely album to ever get that treatment.

----

My order of Spice is set to dispatch tomorrow, woo!

The GH is crying out for a vinyl pressing. I'd snap one up in a heartbeat.

Has anyone seen the vinyl for sale in any HMV's or anywhere else?

Ooh nice! <3 Derby HMV moved premises at some point in the last year or two (the original building is now a bank, HMV is now in the Intu shopping centre). I have some nice memories of the old one too, I'd browse in there occasionally at lunch time when I went to college. I remember I bought Greatest Hits, Headlines and the 10th Anniversary Spiceworld DVD from there. :D

 Ooh, I'm rather envious! I'd really liked to have seen her at that venue, but back then I wouldn't have had anyone to go with, my parents wouldn't have taken me haha. (Btw, unfortunately Assembly Rooms has been disused since a fire occurred there a couple of years ago).

Yeah I wanted to see her in Leicester on 22nd September but I was on holiday in Tenerife. Derby was my next closest which ended up the first night of her tour when she broke (or whatever she did) her foot. Glad it ended up that way cuz I met her. No pic but signatures. I'd used all the film in my camera lol. There were photographers there but I've never seen any pics or anything.

I heard about the place burning down, was quite sad about it
