Sledgehammer peaked at #19 on top 40 radio. It peaked at #40 on the Billboard Hot 100. It became their biggest hit until Worth It was released. Sledgehammer also sold over 1 million downloads. That's hardly from doing nothing on the charts.

Sledgehammer was nice but I am glad they didn't turn into bubblegum pop group since that would not work for them or last. I love the new single! And I love how sexy they are but at the same time they try to remain classy by having lots of clothes on in the video in comparison to lot of other women in pop these days.

But I can't wait for sexy live performances of this with routine

I think it's funny how people nag about these girls being too sexy but at the same time Madonna and Rihanna can flash their cunt as much as they want and same people rave about them.

It's not about chart positions anymore and it has never really been. There are songs that have never entered top 10 anywhere, but spent years in top 100 and ended up selling more than some of the songs that were "big" hits! Who cares if the song is number 1 if it's going to be forgotten in a few months...?

^ exactly, worth it didn't even reach the top 10 but it was only 1 of 22 songs that achieved multi-platinum status in the US during 2015.

Exactly!!! Rihanna can dutty wind and pat her vagina in every video and people act like it's the best thing they've ever seen. Soon as it's someone else it's soft core porn. Smh

I'm sorry but were we watching the same damn video? They're half a chicklet away from being a damn package of Trident. Appears our definitions of class differ profusely :Dizzy:

'Work From Home' has become a very big hit! Particularly in the UK & Australia; it has peaked at #3 in both countries, so far. It's currently #12 in the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, equalling the peak of 'Worth It'. I assume it'll go on to become their first Top 10.

'Work From Home' has amassed almost 64 million streams in a month, and 80m views on YouTube.

This is pretty major, but to me it feels like they've become extremely popular all of a sudden. Granted, 'Worth It' was a huge hit too (in fact it is the most played girl group song of all-time on Spotify with 267m streams, and the most viewed girl group video on Vevo with 726m views)... but it also seemed like it could easily have been a fluke... not necessarily the beginnings of something really big.

It seems like they could have a very successful album era on their hands with 7/27... could they possiby cement themselves as being the biggest girl group since The Pussycat Dolls, internationally? It also appears that they've built up a highly dedicated fanbase. Just listen to the screams for them / the singing along, in this recent performance:

By the way, they've also released an instant grat song 'The Life', don't think it's on YouTube though.

I like work from home better than Worth it. And really like the video for obvious reasons lol.

Work From Home has easily been my favorite single they've released so far & favorite song released this year so far. I really hope 7/27 is a big success for them, they do have an extremely dedicated fan base.

I've downloaded "The Life" as well, it keeps growing on me more each time I listen to it, its a very good album track. Don't see it being a single though, the song is very Camila heavy though but still really like it.

i just hope they don't split too prematurely... like after this album. it looks like they're grooming camilla to be the solo star of the group, not to mention her single with shawn mendes has already went platinum in the US.

i can already imagine camilla putting out a solo album after this era is done, i just hope they keep fifth harmony going.

^^
I agree. I hope they can at least get one more album out together after 7/27. I can see Camila trying to go solo I just hope none of them really try to til after the hopeful 3rd album I'm hoping we can get.

Hopefully this surge in success for the group encourages them to stay together!

#2 in the UK! *.* Don't think it'll manage #1 unfortunately. Interestingly only male artists have managed #1 singles in the UK this year so far. Rihanna's 'Work' also peaked at #2 here, so 5H & Rihanna's songs are the two biggest female-lead singles of the year so far.

'Work From Home' climbs to #10 in the US. It's the first Top 10 hit by a girl group since The Pussycat Dolls' When I Grow Up from summer 2008!

Sledgehammer and Work From Home are probably my two faves.

I really loved their debut album, its what turned me into a big fan of the group. I'm sure there's a few album tracks on there that you would enjoy. My favorites are "Reflection" "Going Nowhere" "Brave Honest Beautiful" & "We Know"
