I suppose some blame might have to sit with the promoters. They obviously saw that Work From Home was a mega hit and thought that arenas would be suitable.
When the UK dates were announced, I thought it was rather ambitious. But if people are willing to put them into an arena, then who would turn up the opportunity. If I was an artist, I know I certainly wouldn't.

Shame about the merch. I doubt that programmes would be available for the Europe dates. Hopefully there is something I can buy!

They've only really had two huge hits so far, and as far as I know their albums have had sales concentrated in the first week but then don't stick around beyond that (that's the case in the UK anyway). So I can understand why an arena tour isn't doing brilliantly for them. I don't think they're as established as they could be. Hopefully 'That's My Girl' adds to the "huge hits" list and they solidify themselves further.

Tbh I'd say 'Work From Home' as a song is bigger than "Fifth Harmony" are in their own right, if that makes sense - it's the kind of song that is such a massive hit that it has a life of its own, irregardless of who the artist is. Even though they clearly do have a very dedicated fan-base presence on social media, that doesn't mean the general public at large is under Fifth Harmony's spell - and that's what is needed to successfully tour.

Saw the show last night. They were very good indeed.
Nottingham Arena however, was EMPTY beyond belief. The first three blocks of the floor were full, but apart from that, it wasn't great. Block D had rows and rows of seats left. And Block 16 (stage left from the artist view) had about 100 max in the upper tier. And the black curtains of doom were certainly in effect last night. It made you feel sorry for the girls.

Apart from that, they did put on a great show, and the live band gave the songs a great sound. Could have done with some extra 'things' going on, such as pyros, confetti, dancers etc. They certainly made use of the smoke jets!

My favourite part of the whole show though was during Brave, Honest, Beautiful, when Lauren YAWNED during the first chorus (see below around 1:25)
Enjoy the videos!

Lauren seems MISERABLE. These poor girls need to stop. They're clearly not enjoying themselves.

Nooo :( I mean this is NOT shocking what so ever. It was always a matter of time, but I was really hoping we'd get one more album from the 5 of them before she decided to leave the band.

Fifth Harmony's statement and Camila's subsequent statement:

Interesting... FH are pretty shady towards Camila in their statement, while Camila denies the "representatives" comment but otherwise praises them.

Intriguingly Camila already has as many Billboard Hot 100 Top 20 hits as a soloist as she achieved with the group. (#4 - Work From Home & #12 - Worth It // #10 - Bad Things & #20 - I Know What You Did Last Summer). The most recent Fifth Harmony single peaked at #73, while Camila's Bad Things moved up to #10 this week - so has Camila left at the right time? It'll be interesting to see how both artists do as they move forward from this.

Their contract expired on the 18th and she told them last month that it would be her last day. She's been incredibly unhappy in the group for a while, and has refused to work on her issues with the group.

I don't really think using nigga is being racist. It's like when people say something is gay, doesn't mean they are a homophobe. I know when I have private conversations with friends I say a lot of stupid things for the lols, and I'm sure this is the case with Camilla.

:Dizzy: You can't possibly think that's okay? Even if you yourself are not racist that is a disgusting and offensive word to use. It holds so much weight and is hurtful against a group of people and it really says a lot about anyone who would use it 'jokingly'

Because the way she is using it is not in a racist way. I've not read much of what she had written because it's still violating someone else's privacy . But from what I did read she used the term "my nigga" as a greeting to her friend in private. (Unless there are other things She said that I never read) Racism comes from a place of hate and the way she used it was definitely not hateful.
