i was in the front row of her concert last year when she came to New York City! It was her birthday, and she bought 5 HUGE lollipops to give to the crowd. I got one, and I was waving it throughout the concert...then she pointed at me and said, "Oy, you got a lolly!" OMG, it was the cutest thing ever!

I am in love with her voice!

How is her personality grating? Not that I am combating the statement - I literally have nothing to go off of other than hearing her album tracks.

Nice to see there are some fans!!

Her album is immense. I mean her voice is completely different to Duffy or Amy (in a good way) Her voice is just so refreshing and powerful.

What is everyone expecting for her second album??? Which is hopefully going to be released this year.

Congratulations to ADELE for U.S. #1 Album!

Postby Official Spiceworld » 04 Mar 2011, 01:58

ADELE has topped the Billboard Album charts at #1 with her 2nd album - 21. In it's first week it sold an impressive 352,000 copies.

She told MTV recently that she was amazed people were buying her album in the States.

'Oh, it's magical being here. I didn't think I'd ever release a record here. 'It's a big deal in England.
There's a massive thing, like, "Did you crack America?"

'The biggest acts in England, no one has any idea who they are here. For people to [buy my albums in the US] is amazing.'
Her debut album 19 managed to climb to number 10 in the US charts in 2009.

She is currently top of the UK singles and album charts as well.

Adele became the first living artist to achieve the feat of two top five hits in both charts at the same time since The Beatles.

Her singles Someone Like You and Rolling in the Deep have been flying high in the singles charts while 19 and 21 have also dominated the album charts.

She is set to remain at number one this weekend keeping new albums from Jessie J and Beady Eye from the top spot.

It's crazy how she's suddenly become so huge, good for her, I'm not a fan of her voice but she so deserves it, she must be so proud!

i personally cant stop listening to 21.i havent listening to nething else since i got it. its a great album. someone like you makes me feel so emotional. im glad to see someone with real talent who can sing live and not a packaged pop artist who just mimes be successful. i think its healthy to see ppl of all types be successful.

that being said i think i will give her cd a break when i get avrils new cd and then when i get britneys which i cant wait for

I'm glad she's getting recognized for her talent. Her song "Someone like you" is really touching and has so much emotion. I also like "Rolling in the deep" both songs are very powerful. Wishing more success to her!!!

it's superb but so strange with an album that in my opinion sounds the same for 60minutes and is 100x less then her awesome '19'

19 is a great album, but I think ADELE shows her powerful vocals of more with 21.

I think the reason it's been a bigger success is simply because the album is much louder in terms of production and the bigger sound of the music.

Congrats Adele!

but if i want her powerful vocals, i will go to a concert (and i'm going), i want quality popsongs
but except 'Rolling in the deep' and "Someone like you" the albums sounds the same.
it baffles me that she didn't write THAT many songs like on 19, i mean she's such a brilliant writer, too bad she gave so much to professional writers this time...
what single is she releasing after "SLY"? that'll prove that those were the only 2 strong songs on the album, they're not dumb :)

'Set Fire to the Rain' was suppose to be the 2nd single, but after the Brits
'Someone Like You' caught on and went to Number one. So that's the next single.
