Released in aid of Comic Relief, fans assumed this single release would send The Saturdays straight to #1. It wasn't to be - despite leading the way in the initial midweeks, Flo Rida's 'Right Round' pipped them to the post come Sunday!

#2 remains their best peak, and they've never bettered the three weeks in the Top 5 which this single managed - but this isn't their best selling single (it ranks 4th out of 13 releases).

Despite this success - it's DenDen's least favourite song of the lot!

After The Saturdays experienced a shaky start with their debut album 'Chasing Lights' (which debuted at #11 and plummeted out of the chart), fans were hopeful that third single 'Issues' would help the album out. It did! Off the back of this single, the album climbed from outside the Top 75 to its eventual peak of #9.

'Issues' remains the girls' best selling slow song by far, but scored poorly here - only two voters have it in their personal Top 5s.

The launch single for The Saturdays' second album 'Wordshaker' came as a surprise to most, with its pop/rock sound. It seemed the girls were onto a winner when it charted at #2 - but it left the charts rather swiftly, and didn't entice many people into buying their new album.

This means both of their #2 hits haven't made DenDen's "Top 10 favourite singles by The Saturdays!"

"Issues" so low?! I think that it's still the best "slow" single so far.

Where it all began! It's already four years since The Saturdays' were the support act for Girls Aloud's 'Tangled Up' tour, where debut single 'If This Is Love' got its first exposure. Time flies!

From their debut single in 10th place, to their current single in 9th place! '30 Days' achieved their 5th highest first week sales, but may struggle to spend longer than 3 weeks in the Top 40.

'Issues' isn't bad at all, but they have so many good singles that it inevitably ends up out of the top 10..

I really do love Issues, but I agree with Stewie they put out such amazing singles it's not too shocking it ended up out of the Top 10, though it being 2nd to last is a little surprising to me

'Missing You' became The Saturdays' first #1 ... on the radio charts! While this was an excellent achievement for the girls, sadly they didn't manage the same in the sales chart, reaching #3 (despite being midweek #1 all week).

First major shock of the results! 'My Heart Takes Over' was a spectacular fail for The Saturdays late last year - missed the Top 10, spent just four weeks in the Top 200, and is their worst selling song. It launched the album 'On Your Radar' which did similarly - a poor #23 peak, and barely sold 50,000 copies. Oops! Nevertheless, seems DenDen rather like this single!

Personally, I really liked this song, even if it was the wrong choice.

Love Missing You! Glad it was in the Top 10, and rather surprised My Heart Takes Over was so high. I really like the ballad, I just did not agree with the choice of it being a single

^they got what they deserved.

not saying the song is shit though, but they deserved to flop for chosing one of the weakest tracks of the album to launch it.

True but I can see why they chose it, a xmas sounding winter ballad and all, I expect they thought it would do an Issues and sell the album well.

'Work' was a clear fan favourite track as soon as the girls released their debut album. Eventually it was chosen to be the fifth and final single from 'Chasing Lights', but it was seemingly one single too far when it stalled outside of the Top 20 at #22. This chart placing was achieved under unfortunate circumstances - they would have actually charted slightly higher at #17, had Michael Jackson not passed away a few days before their release date.

However, the single had quite remarkable consistency despite its poor non-Top 20 peak. Its eventual sales exceeded 100,000, and it stayed in the Top 200 for a respectable 18 weeks.

We've reached the Top 5, as chosen by you - the crème de la crème of Saturdays singles! :p

Starting our Top 5 is 'Up', their second hit & launch single for 'Chasing Lights'. 'Up' entered & peaked at #5, in a week where hyped up releases by Geraldine McQueen [a comedy single by Peter Kay] & Leon Jackson [an X Factor winner] charted at #2 and #3 respectively, due to strong CD sales. ( :x ) Frustratingly, 'Up' attained a better position of #3 on the download chart.

Beyond its peak position, 'Up' showed incredible strength in the charts. It stayed in the Top 40 for a massive 19 weeks, and in the Top 75 for 30 weeks - making it one of the longest ever chart runs by any girl group. It remains their best selling single to date, with 340,000 copies sold.

The Saturdays chose 'Ego' as the second single from their underperforming 'Wordshaker' album. Unfortunately, 'Ego' didn't revive much interest in the album - which could only re-enter the Top 40 for one more week before swiftly diving out of the chart again, eventually selling a mere 85,000 copies.

However, 'Ego' itself was a very big hit for the girls! Its peak of #9 might not be suggestive of that - but it's actually their second best selling single out of 13 releases. Again, this was down to chart longevity - including 24 weeks in the Top 75.

At first I was shocked when I saw Up at #5 and Ego at #4, but actually their top5 singles are REALLY good. I'm glad that Notorious is top3, as most fans didn't seem to love it at first. My bet is:

1. Higher
2. AFU
3. Notorious

btw, it's curious how 4 out of the 5 fan favourite singles are "the 2nd single" of each release (Up, Ego, Higher, All Fired Up). If they keep the tradition, the 14th single (and the 2nd from whatever album is coming out next year) will be another killer fan-favourite track.

Well I'm definitely pleased with the Top 5 singles and especially that Notorious is in the Top 3 because it was my favorite song released from the past year by anyone.

I think the same as IER that the top 3 will be:

1-Higher
2-All Fired Up
3-Notorious

*Slightly shocked* - I thought this would definitely end up placing inside the Top 2, but in the end it wasn't close to doing so - in fact, it was nearer to ending in 4th place!

Anyway. This Xenomania produced single gave The Saturdays their strongest first week sale of nearly 70,000, but it sadly had quite a short chart life - out of the Top 40 after just six weeks.

A classic Rochelle moment that will go down in Sats history - opening a bottle of champagne when this song topped the iTunes chart - but was knocked down again after mere minutes. :$
