Postby Dom » 14 Apr 2012, 13:21

Confirmed in the latest flip 30 Days is indeed from a brand new album...

Here we go again!

Oh well I guess as a Saturdays fan you just have to appreciate whatever new music you get now and accept the album sales are never going to be big again.

Ha! Feels like one year ago!

But it's even weirder now how the '30 Days' cover is so On Your Radar inspired.
After all, them writing for the next album doesn't necessarily means that this single is intended for it.

Maybe they're still re-releasing On Your Radar, with these new tunes getting released on the next album.

Chasing Lights actually did ok which is what I meant, even Headlines did moderately well I suppose.

Exactly what i think. Just cos they are saying they are writing for a new album doesn't mean this is going to be part of it. After all on the flip they never said "30 Days is from our new album" it just says they are currently writing one.

Oh, I don't watch their flips, I just read that comment on another forum. But regardless, this is exactly how On Your Radar happened. They released Notorious while they were still writing the album so who knows.

You'd think that someone, somewhere would eventually figure out that they don't sell very many albums?

I mean, good for them for having an (overly) supportive record label, but how many "buzz" albums can a group get?

^^^ I agree they have a VERY VERY supportive label! As sad as it is to say if i owned their label i would've dropped them by now (thinking about my bank balance instead of my heart)

Me either, I love these girls and wished that their albums could be successful but it honestly doesn't seem like its going to happen. But if they keep releasing new music I'll definitely always be there to buy it

I'm just excited for new music, whether it be added to a re-release with a separate album, like The Fame Monster and Cannibal, or whether we get a new album, EP or whatever. As long as they tag a tour DVD onto it as well, I'll be a happy man haha

I'm actually questing whether the All Fired Up tour was actually filmed for DVD.

From what I remember, there were notices in the MEN saying it was being filmed, but apparently that's mandatory for the MEN arena? We actually have no official confirmation it was filmed for a release.

That's true. But I suppose we have to look and see other shows that went on recently at the arena and see whether they have been filmed using the same things, like the cranes and what not?
For example, Steps, JLS, Olly Murs etc...

I hope they relesase it after the 2nd (upbeat) single this time, not after the 3rd one in the middle of the xmas campaign. It's a shame this means GRGS won't ever get a release :(

I wouldn't be surprised if this was like Wordshaker/Headlines all over again and they include some OYR tracks to complete the new album, something like:

1. 30 Days
2. New song
3. New song
4. New song
5. New song
6. New song
7. New song
8. Notorious
9. All Fired Up
10. Get Ready, Get Set
11. Faster
12. Last Call
-If you really bug me, then I'll say goodbye.

Last Call is to stay on the new album haha.
Whereas, as much as I love Faster, it can go because it's rather similar to 30 Days
