It is but I love all of them. It IS cheap cardboard copy and the woman is beautiful but nowhere as sexy as Kalomira was. But this is definitely the best the Eurovision has to offer this year unfortunately :(

Yup. I agree with artziboi. Despite being a cheap ripoff, the song is still very catchy. At least the overall performance is better than that jerky performance given by the winner.

Anyway, as expected, Loreen won. *YAWNZ*

I can't believe the good songs charted so badly:

Hungary Compact Disco "Sound of Our Hearts" 24
Lithuania Donny Montell "Love is Blind" 14
Cyprus Ivi Adamou "La La Love" 16 (Crazy!!! No. 16?)
Norway Tooji "Stay" 26 (WTF!!!! This should have been at least top 5)
Greece Eleftheria Eleftheriou "Aphrodisiac" 17 (U MAD??? No. 17?)
Malta Kurt Calleja "This Is the Night" 7 (Thank God at least this song did well)

sorry, but some of them really deserved to be down there!!!
Norway? It was just a baaad copy of Eric Saad!! The guy, the dance, the song - everything screamed copy!!

Lithuania? The young boy trying to dance like Michael Jackson? He was really bad

and Greece? Every year they send songs that sound like the song from the year before - all their songs sound the same. Maybe they should change something

I´m surprised that Cyprus only made it to No. 16 :-\
this was one of my favourit song

I´m happy with Sweden winning this year - and more happy that it wasnt Russia!!! ;) ;)

and good to see Germany at No.8 :)

Noway was absolutely awful, I'm glad it ended up in last place. I'm quite pleased with the outcome - though I would have never expected Serbia to do that well! I'm thrilled that Albania ended up so high - she was my personal #1!

LOL @ people saying Norway's and Greece's entries are bad copies and sending same songs. All in all, Sweden's entry is also another copy of a dance track that contains bad jerky dance moves.

Different strokes for different folks.

I agree. Sweden goes and hunts out for Eurodance songs with wind machine every other year. It has been just most recently that countries like Turkey have started doing diffirent things with their entries and gone bit more experimental. But to be honest, Greek sound is that and why the hell not? :D

As if Sweden invented Pop/Dance male performer with bedroom eyes to dance on stage. I think it's one of the oldest inventions in this game.

Even though I did initially mention that his performance was a poorer version of Eric Saade's entry last year (but I don't slam him for it nor Greece's entry), but after watching these performances change my impression of him. He is sure a really good singer and the song is really good, whether it's the original version or the stripped down version. I am pretty sure once people watch these acoustic version will have changed his impression of him.

Anyway, the first and the last of the competition. :D

There goes Greece's record for the only country entering the top 10 in every final since the semi-finals were brought into the game :(

Try to think of a different word to use next time, as that can be offensive.

Just to be clear, I am not being offensive here. What I meant is the dance moves are full of irregular movements.
I shall change to jerky. Is that alright?

I think this year is the first time in years that so many countries from the Big Five made it to the Top10. Germany, Italy and Spain. The regular thing is that almost all of the big five countries are in the low places of the chart.

I'm glad Spain was #10 in the end. We got votes from a few more countries than usual. If we had sent the song in english I guess we would have had chances of being Top5.

That's what happens when you rip Alanis Morissette's "Crazy" off.
Joanhs wrote:Oh, and yes about the thing people voting for eachother for political reasons..

They're not political reasons. Why would all the eastern countries vote themselves for political reasons when they have separated from each others to become individual countries years ago? The UK gave Spain 8 points this year and right now we're not exactly in good politic relations with them.

It's simply geographic affinity. People from X country move to the surrounding countries and they vote for their native country. Portugal doesn't vote for Spain because of political reasons, they do because there are a lot of spanish people living in Portugal. And the same happens with all the other countries. And then you have certain cases like this year's Serbian entry, whose singer is a huge star in the eastern territories, so all of those countries vote for him (same as most of the western countries of Europe would vote for Elton John if he sang for the UK).
