I hope they milk this album properly (if there are songs to do so). I hate how they never released Stand Up from the first album and Hummingbird from the 2nd one, which were the best tracks on each album.

Hummingbird & Waiting would have been ideal 3rd and 4th singles and could have easily got the album selling again.

It was strange to just drop it because The Flood peaked so low.

I think it was more to do with her focus shifting towards The X Factor USA.

Couldn't she have released the 3rd single before she went over there though? she still had time to film a video and pre record a few performances. She then could have released a 4th single after she was fired from XFUSA.

Oh well pointless discussing it now I suppose

Haha, if that sentence were to be true across the board, there'd be no point to the Spice Girls forum :p

I'm sure they could have done, but by 'focus shifting' I kind of mean, perhaps she/management didn't really want to spend time towards another single campaign when there were 'bigger fish to fry', so to speak!

Anyway, as IER wrote, definitely hope this third album campaign is longer! Will be interesting to see how the releases go. With the single/album in June, perhaps a second single would follow in September. Getting very close to the the possibility of a Girls Aloud reunion though... will Cheryl's solo career overlap with a reunion? If there's a third single, it'd probably be in November? Which is the month of the 10th anniversary.

Oh, it'll be exciting to see how it all happens! :D

Listening to Radio 1 now. Can't wait for it to premiere. Thank God for internet. It'll be a great way to end my night. Depending on how good or not the track is...

It's a good song, but nothing new. Fight For This Love had that instant factor, sounded fresh, new, original and a real proper classic pop song that defined an artist. Promise This sounded original because of the sampler used and so on. But Call My Name sounds like any other song Rihanna could've included on Loud or Talk That Talk, in fact it sounds like a Rihanna reject and the music is too similar to We Found Love.

Not saying I don't like it, but it's definetly her most mainstream and average single relase ever.

"We found Love" started playing on my head when I heard it. I didn't like WFL at first either though and PM was weird so maybe I'll get used to this too tho.

^ Apparently the Vevo premiere is on May 2nd!

I don't strongly hear 'We Found Love' tbh. In fact I hear more of 'Party Rock Anthem' in this song actually.

ok i don't think this will go to no1 actually because

1. the release date is way later than the track's exposure to the public

2. this isn't catchy at all and the vocals are so meh
